T O P I C R E V I E WArtsyAriesHello all,I was reading the post about the woman who was having a difficult time in life due to the fact she was experiencing a "9" year...endings, etc. (She was 36)I am 26 and wondering what my "8" year means...So far lots of transitions and going out on a limb, so to speak...and am wondering if things will settle down soon or if this is a ride that's going to last a while....basically, what should I be prepared for?!!?! * * * ** * * * *Thanks, Know-flakes! * * * *Peace,NicoleXVIIArtsyAries,I'm just finnishing my 8 year (44). For me the lesson has been to eliminate anything or anyone from my life that does not "grow corn". Begin the process of deciding what works in your life and what does not. In previous 8 years (17, 26, 35) I persisted on fitting in to what is deemed "normal", and what others expected of me. I ignored my intuition and 9 years later ended up at the same spot. Each cycle being harder than the previous. So my experience has lead me to believe: 8 years are for "cleaning house", getting centered, start working on your blue print of your future. Reflect back on your 17 year, and your 19 year. At age 19 did you begin your new cycle where you wanted? If not, what could you have done differently at age 17 and 18 to help manifest your dreams.Your as brave as you make believe you are. *disneyRandallWelcome! ------------------"Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca ClarkLunargirlLarge excerpts of Linda's numerology from Star Signs are available here in this forum -- way back on older pages, near the end. Just for everyone's handy reference. To learn more about an 8 year, go to the numbers at the bottom of this Forum topic index, and start clicking past pages. You'll see the posts about 8, 4, etc. Enjoy,LunargirlyousayThanks again Lunargirl, I was wondering where to find about what a 1 year entails so I came to this thread and bob's your uncle you showed where to go.ArtsyAriesThanks XVII !!This is very true. I truly do have a sense that I have let go of all the things that no longer serve me and am looking to begin anew.Lunargirl, I am sorry to make you all repeat some of these things, but truthfully it's tough to look up the exact answer to each question. I have poured through the older stuff and it hasn't been what I have had questions about. Thanks for having patience with me. Not all of us are as educated about these matters as you perhaps, and this is how we learn, by researching and then asking questions...Thanks again for the answers and patience!Peace,NicoleLunargirlHeya, ArtsyAries, please, no need to apologize! Let's not go there. I was just trying to let you know that some Knowflakes have typed in a lot of Linda's info that you might find interesting and relevant... not cut off your discussion! I think that so many people have posted so much great info and wisdom here, that it's a rich resource. It's too bad that Lindaland no longer has a search function... I understand it used to, in a previous version, but technical difficulties meant we can't have one in this version of the software. Hey... I have lots of areas where I'm a newbie too... and as a fellow Arien, I know our curiosity is insatiable! So never hesitate to ask whatever's on your mind!cheers,LunargirlKatI thought an 8 represents prosperity 4(work) doubled. Perhaps a good year to advance career wise, make $$, establish yourself in the material world. (????)LunargirlJust boosting this to the top for answers. BTW, I just noticed that Randall has indeed re-installed the search function -- off I go to play with it! Thanks, Randall!Lunargirl
